So there are some things that I have not been able to get enough of lately and so obvi I must share them with you.
I am known to get on kicks where I become totally obsessed with something and make it a part of my life constantly for a period of time. Right now, these are those things:
1. Frozen Grapes
Seriously it’s as basic as it sounds. Frozen grapes. Do yourself a favor and go to the store, buy some grapes, wash them, and let them freeze. Strangely, I prefer frozen red grapes to frozen green grapes even I prefer fresh green grapes to fresh red grapes. Doesn’t make any sense, but I do know that I cannot get enough of these things. Likely causing my daily sugar intake to rocket sky high, but hey, it’s natural sugar so it’s okay, right? Haha
I’m on this maca kick too. Started using this stuff a couple weeks ago and really feel like it’s toned down my anxiety and helped me manage stress a bit better. Nothing earth-shattering yet, but these things often take time to really show their power.
It has a weird almost spicy taste that I actually LOVE and put it in my morning smoothie every day.
I totally recommend giving this stuff a try and letting me know what you think! I have bought other stuff from Moon Juice and really like their products. I’m totally a sucker for packaging and they originally got me on that, but their products are truly high-quality.
3. Reading Every Night
I have been making more of an effort to read every night before bed. I spend wayyyy more time in front of a computer than is healthy so I have been trying really hard to shut all electronics down at like 10 p.m. and lay in bed to get in some good reading time.
Sometimes I can convince Reed to join me, although currently our schedules are quite different (hello being a total morning person living with a total night owl).
I’m currently reading these two books.
“A Visit From the Goon Squad” was a recommendation from my rad cousin, and “The Obstacle is the Way” is by someone I heard about from one of my favorite podcasts.
I will follow up on these books when I’m done if I think you guys would enjoy them!
Alright guys. Those are my current obsessions that I seriously cannot get enough of. All day every day if I could get away with it. But for now, just once a day (except for the frozen grapes — that is an obsession that is on the verge of getting out of hand . . .)
